Ashish Kumar Malik

Ashish Kumar Malik is a Management Graduate, with vast experience of more than a decade in managing travel & tour segments of Europe, Latin America, South Asia, Islands, among others. He studied LLB from CCS University to serve society to the best of his experience and abilities. Ashish is a part of the litigation team of the firm. In a short span of time, he has appeared in District Courts and various Highs Courts actively participating in drafting suits for partition, recovery, execution petitions, and complaints under Section – 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881, Wills, divorce, custody of the children, domestic violence, maintenance, bail and many more matters.

Since he is well-versed with international travel, he has a deep understanding of visa issuance and immigration formalities, international trade etc. With those skills he is able to navigate better in aspects like international trade regulations, international logistics, transportation and safety laws, hotel licensing, environmental laws etc and advise the clients for their most suitable legal remedy effectively.

A substantial part of Ashish’s practice involves insolvency and bankruptcy law, commercial disputes, real estate laws, intellectual property rights, media and entertainment laws, succession law, marine and a special focus on financial disputes and white-collar crimes  His MBA and previous experience help us in dealing with the corporate issues and financial aspects of commercial cases. 

As an integral part of the firm, he prepares counters for Writ Petitions, drafts, replies to different applications and does extensive research related to the concerned cases in hand. He is a first- generation lawyer who believes that the legal field makes a person an all- rounder since a legal practitioner needs to be fully aware of not just the law but everything going around the world impacting the decision one makes.  Apart from law, he has a keen interest in arts, music, and travelling around the world and believes in constantly nourishing legal knowledge. He firmly believes that we should take inspiration from countries like Norway, Sweden and Finland for strict regulatory enforcement. This will not only make India a corruption-free, crime-free land but also will become a country where disputes will be easy to be resolved. Ashish is an indispensable asset of The Law Codes.
