The General Manager (Compliance) will be responsible for ensuring that Team India operations are in full compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. This will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Monitoring and staying updated on all laws and regulations related to the game of cricket in India, and ensuring that Team India's operations remain in line with these.
  • Conducting regular compliance reviews of Team India's operations and making necessary recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborating with other departments and teams to ensure that compliance is integrated into all aspects of Team India's operations.
  • Designing, developing, implementing and maintaining an effective compliance framework for Team India.
  • Providing timely and accurate guidance on compliance-related matters to the Coach, Captain, and other team members as needed.
  • Educating the team on the importance of compliance and fostering a culture of compliance within the team.

##Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Law, with a focus on sports or entertainment law preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field, with at least 5 years in a compliance role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Indian laws and regulations pertaining to the game of cricket.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
